This position is responsible for the operational support for multiple contracts/programs related to data collection, analysis and reporting. The incumbent will provide subject matter expertise and support in the analysis of the data, and in the design and development of products or services to support contract deliverables. In addition, the incumbent will perform leadership responsibilities as delegated by the lead or Manager.
Operational Support – Serves as subject matter expert to internal and external customers. Utilizes knowledge and expertise to research and resolve issues in a timely manner and to the customer’s satisfaction. Provides direction to internal team.
Requirements Analysis - Provides input to the business and functional requirements for software products and services, including enhancements based on program and product knowledge. Provides subject matter expertise to align program requirements with product requirements.
Product/Project Validation and Delivery - Collaborates and coordinates with project leads and initiates project processes. Provides product/project level validation to identify issues and recommend changes if needed. Troubleshoots identified issues based on program knowledge and subject matter expertise. Completes tasks and deliverables on time.
Documentation - Creates, updates, and reviews documentation and provides input for clarification and detail, ensuring information is accurate, thorough, and follows established processes and compliance requirements (i.e. 508 compliance standards). Identifies where additional information is needed, and the most effective mode of creating and communicating that information.
Training - Creates and reviews training materials. Makes recommendations for new training material or for enhancements based upon program or product knowledge and expertise. Coordinates and facilitates live or recorded training sessions. Performs knowledge-sharing presentations to internal and external customers.
Client Management – Assists with client needs analysis and assessment. Assists with management of client expectations and relationships.
Miscellaneous - Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Four year degree in business, health care, or IT and 3-5 years related experience; or equivalent experience in related field; Demonstrated experience in healthcare quality improvement, healthcare information management and/or healthcare information technology (HIT); intermediate experience working with Windows and PC based software products; experience working in a deadline driven environment, handling multiple tasks; good written and verbal communication skills. Electronic Health Record experience preferred
Work with quality measures in health care strongly perferred.
10% local and overnight travel.
