Job Type: Full Time Position Summary:
This position is responsible for general project management duties, analysis, and support of internal products/services/programs. Duties include development of project schedules, creation and distribution of issues list, escalation management, facilitating cross-functional meetings (e.g. agenda preparation, reports distribution, material gathering and distribution, and communication of decisions/results, etc.), and liaison between internal clients, operational staff, and IT. This position makes extensive use of analytical skills: identifying project risks and developing risk management plans; working with internal clients, cross functional operational areas, and IT in product based planning and progressive elaboration; managing and escalating issues; understanding the impact of change requests and managing project scope. Required Qualifications:
5+ years IT Application Development project management experience Experience working multiple projects; previously supported several medium ($500K-$750K) efforts concurrently, or 1 or 2 large (1.5M+) projects concurrently Experience developing a fully loaded and leveled schedule for at least five projects using MS Project Must have experience delivering at least 5 projects within 5% of budget on schedule including major milestones Must have delivered 5 projects with no more than 5% change in project budget due to scope Must have executed at least 5 projects where they have established and maintained formal change management and executed change control Must have executed at least 5 projected where they have lead formal risk workshops through multiple phases of the project lifecycle including schedule analysis. Must have executed a minimum of 5 projects where they have had budget responsibilities from inception through delivery including periodic forecasting Preferred Qualifications:
AGILE DEVELOPMENT– exposure to one or more agile development approaches is a plus PROGRAMMING EXPERIENCE – programming experience is a plus (but not required) in communicating with the developers and understanding why all the pieces go together INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE – health care, insurance, pharmacy experience a plus, PBM experience is a strong plus CERTIFICATION – PMP or equivalent project management certification considered RISK and ISSUE MANAGEMENT – experience with risk workshops, risk analysis, schedule analysis, issue management, formal risk and issue logs Education:
High School Diploma/GED and 5+ years experience or Bachelor’s Degree Business Overview:
