Responsible for providing financial and informational analysis for the Operating and Planning groups.
Essential Functions:
The Sr. Information Analyst reports to the Materials Manager and is responsible for controlling timely, economic accurate flow of inventory allocation, leased components, third party components and optimization strategies in support of aircraft maintenance operations
Analyzes inventory levels, production turn over and stock demand to determine reorder levels which will ensure materials availability and minimize inventory costs
Conducts physical inventories, cycle counts, inventory reconciliation and associated adjustments ;implements process for improvements when discrepancies are found
Assists with inventory related contract compliance issues and processes
Performs a variety of complicated tasks
Monitors the daily activities of the inventory with other supporting co-workers
Maintain Inventory Technical Assistance Center (TAC) tickets
Relies on experience and judgment to accomplish goals
Presents formal written reports & presentations regarding data analysis & recommendations in a timely manner
Collaborate with departments such as Finance, Maintenance, Planning or Vendor for issues or process that require attention
Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures
Perform other duties as assigned by the Materials Manager
Minimum Job Requirements:
Must have at least five years of verifiable inventory experience within aviation and or production field
Working knowledge of inventory control functions as well understanding the accounting allocation
Must be detail oriented with ability to meet assignments with minimal supervision
Strong organizational and problem solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Efficient with Microsoft programs & presentation skills
Ability to communicate with all levels of management
Must work in a team atmosphere
Must have time management skills
Must be willing to travel occassionaly as needed
The ability to prioritize both strategic, and tactical production initiatives achieving departmental goals
