The Senior Instructional Designer collaborates with appropriate contributors and leverages knowledge of adult learning theory to design and develop education content and deliverables. The Senior Instructional Designer is responsible for executing the learning design for each project as well as developing training materials and collateral.
Act as subject matter expert on learning and learning technologies and apply knowledge of adult learning theory to the design and development of learning interventions
Develop and maintain training materials for internal colleagues, including multimedia modules, instructor-led training, job aids and reference tools, collaterals, and end user support documentation
Create test instruments and evaluation tools as needed
Collaborate with Web and Multimedia Developers on the development of multimedia education products and the implementation of learning designs
Maintain an understanding of learning technologies (e.g. simulations, performance support tools, etc.) and their potential applications
Collaborate effectively with internal and external constituents, including subject matter experts, corporate stakeholders, and field deployment staff to plan and execute training
Support Business Development efforts as required

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate will have:
Bachelor's degree in Adult or Workforce Learning, Education, Psychology, Communications, or related field required. Master's degree in Instructional Systems Design, Curriculum & Instruction, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Educational Psychology, or similar field preferred.
3 - 5 years of proven experience in the design, development, and deployment of learning initiatives and materials.
Proven experience with technology-based learning design. Work samples required.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Fluency with Microsoft Office applications is required. Proficiency in learning technologies and design tools, such as Adobe Captivate, Flash, Articulate, is strongly preferred.
Project management skills, including proactive communication, managing workload to stay within budget and deadlines. Experience working in fast-paced settings and managing multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
