Position Purpose:

We are adding to our training team! The Training Designer position is responsible for designing Leadership and Commercial programs at Datacard. This position reports to the Director of Talent Management.

Responsibilities:
·


Design and develop instructor-led and technology-enabled curricula for a global audience to support multiple business and training initiatives.
·
Design cost effective and scalable solutions that are creative but practical for the targeted business environment.
·
Consult with clients to scope needs, understand requirements, and identify possible learning solutions based on needs for Leadership and commercial programs. Incorporate multiple feedback loops to ensure the client and/or target audience needs are met and appropriate adjustments are made.

Create design standards and templates for online courses.
·
Learn and understand all technology programs in order to administer the design and deployment of eLearning courses in the Learning Management System (LMS) at Datacard.
·
Manage course design and review process using established design and editing guidelines to ensure accurate and on-time delivery of e-learning modules.
·
Create web-based training that integrates with large scope blended training solutions as well as single elearning modules.
·
Responsible to edit own work to maintain quality, consistency and effectivenss of training.
·
Use industry standard tools to create and upload courses that are LMS compliant.
·
Research and stay current on industry standard tools used in learning.
·
Evaluate effectiveness of training programs.
·
Facilitate sales and leadership training programs as required.
Basic Qualifications:
·


Bachelor’s degree
·
Minimum 5 years experience developing adult learning solutions, from design to implementation
·
Technical proficiency in Articulate, Captivate or comparable e-learning authoring tools
·
Proven experience in building content delivered to global audiences using e-learning and vitual classroom formats
·
Experience in soft skills training development
·
Experience communicating and interacting with all levels of the organization
·
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office applications
·
Ability to effectively present and facilitate including the use of audio visuals, online and other technologies
Preferred Qualifications:
·


Master’s Degree or Certificate in Instructional Design highly preferred
·
Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
·
Passionate about learning new things
·
Must be able to work well under pressure, take initiative and take instructions from multiple individuals while independently resolving pruirity issues
