Acclarent, Inc. is a medical device company in Menlo Park, CA that was established in June of 2004. The company is dedicated to the development of innovative devices providing new technologies to further meet the needs of ENT patients.
Acclarent's initial focus is on achieving the goals of sinus surgery with novel, endoscopic, catheter-based tools - Balloon Sinuplasty™ devices. Through the Balloon Sinuplasty™ technology and our Relieva® product portfolio we offer ENT patients another option to conventional endoscopic surgical technologies. FDA clearances for these devices were completed in 2005 and the products were commercially launched in the US that same year.

The Sr. Logistics Associate uses his/her ability as a skilled specialist in accordance with company policy and procedures to complete complex tasks in a creative and effective manner. Additionally, he/she is responsible for the daily transport of inventory and supplies, including the appropriate electronic transactions and paperwork associated with these movements. This individual will also be responsible for inventory accuracy, warehouse organization and continuous improvement of assigned processes.
The Sr. Logistics Associate will be responsible for ensuring that all materials delivered are processed according to established procedures. This individual will also prepare product for shipping and will conduct and transacts all shipments. With respect to Inventory Control, this individual will monitors Inventory and notifies Purchasing when existing stock falls below stocking levels. In addition, the Sr. Logistics Associate will perform cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and provide insight to discrepant items. This individual will perform system transactions so that the ERP system reflects real time status of inventory and will ensure that all materials/containers are correctly labeled regarding identification and status.
The Sr. Logistics Associate will fill requests for materials from inventory as necessary and ensures that all warehouse locations are well organized and safe. This individual will monitor and order supplies that are maintained in inventory. This individual will follow all Quality System requirements and will prepare product for sterilization. The Sr. Logistics Associate will also develop creative solutions to problems and/or unexpected situations as they arise. This individual documents processes as needed and will be responsible for other duties as assigned by management.
A High School diploma or equivalent is required. It is required to have a minimum of 4 years of experience as a material handler in a medical device or ISO quality system environment OR 6 years of experience as a material handler in another industry. It is required that this individual have experience with international shipping and receiving including the documentation that is required. Basic computer literacy with Microsoft and Windows is required. It is highly preferred that this individual be able to determine efficiencies for current processes and provide recommendations to business partners.
Experience using a computerized inventory control system is required, preferably, QAD. The ability to operate a forklift is highly preferred. The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. safely and without injury to self and/or others is required. The ability to climb up and down stairs with light to moderate loads is required. This individual must be willing and able to work on his/her feet all day long. This individual must be able to work well in a team environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. It is required to have excellent attention to detail.
This position may require minimal travel and is located in Menlo Park, CA. It may be required that this individual work OT as well as weekends based on the needs of the business.
