Sr. Logistics Support Analyst - 213532

Description
      Performs analytical and research-related activities in order to administer and/or maintain Logistics management Information databases using Slicwave and PowerLog software. Acts as consultant to leaders on departmental/corporate initiatives. Analyzes adequacy of current policies and procedures and recommends improvements or modifications . Assists in the development/design and implementation of new departmental techniques, programs, methods, and functionally-specific initiatives . Designs and conducts special surveys, studies, and reports. May be responsible for allocating work to and providing guidance to lower-level employees. Uses advanced concepts and departmental-specific knowledge to provide item sustainment data on a material system and information needed for planning, assessing program status, and program decisions. Solve a wide range of problems in practical or creative ways and to service the needs of customers. Devlop comprehensive Logistics Support Plans based on engineering design data. Perform Logistics Analysis from engineering drawings.

      Qualifications
      · Position typically calls for a Masters Degree with little or no experience
      · Or a Bachelors Degree with 7+ years of experience
      . · Must have knowledge of Logistics Management Information using Slicwave and PowerLog
      · Must be able to populate various LMI tables to produce the following output: o
      Maintenance Planning o
      Repair Analysis o
      Support and Test Equipment o
      Provisioning o
      Manpower and Personnel o
      Facilities o
      Packaging, Handling. Storage, and Transportation o
      Task Analysis
      · Must be able to setup and run LSA reports
      · Must be familiar with MIL-STD 13882B and MIL PREF 49506
      · Experience using the approved Army COMPASS model to create a Level of Repair Analysis is a plus
