Prepares maintenance schedules and coordinates maintenance activities to ensure upkeep and efficient operation of production machinery and equipment. Develops or revises standard operational and working practices and observes team members to ensure compliance with standards. Controls Maintenance orders to ascertain that proper quantities, types, and materials are to specification for utilization. Coordinates efforts of team members in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment. Reviews requisitions and maintains inventory of spare parts. Ensures compliance of company and governmental safety compliance programs and offers training to meet these compliance programs. Recommends measures to improve production methods and equipment performance that enhances product quality and efficiency. Coordinates activities with management staff to provide necessary support to complete maintenance projects. must be able to handle multiple priorities efficiently and in a timely manner to support production needs to meet and exceed customer expectations. Provides coaching and training for all maintenance team members in order to provide a fully qualified, quality conscious, and safety conscious maintenance team. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Associates Degree in Industrial Maintenance, or 10 years automotive maintenance experience with Controls and PLC experience. Supervisory experience preferred.
