ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
Finance's primary responsibilities include financial reporting, corporate taxes, accounts payable, billing and collections, budget development and monitoring, underwriting, cash management, risk management, SEC reporting, mergers and acquisitions activity, payroll, disaster recovery planning, internal audit and investor relations.
This position will manage financial analyses and consultation of Express Scripts clients. Provide management of key internal initiatives and projects. Provide client with plan design consultation and appropriate plan design recommendations through creative modeling and analyses. Conduct in-depth analyses to identify client specific trends, explain past program performance and recommend opportunities for improvement. Present analyses to client as part of Account Management account team. Provide analytical, quantitative, and financial cost modeling assistance in support of Account Management and client objectives. On-going management of a client’s contract to ensure compliance with financial terms. Manage development of pricing for client renewals and prospects from P&L modeling to overseeing execution of client contract. Manage client profitability to targets and guidelines. Respond to RFP financial requests. Work with internal business partners to create pricing and product positioning strategies. Assist in the presentation and negotiation of client deals. Manage, train and develop staff.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Math, Computer Science, Statistics or related field; MBA preferred
Minimum of 8 years relevant financial analysis/analytical experience
Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, financial modeling skills a plus
Demonstrates leadership skills and ability to lead team initiatives/projects
Excellent PC skills; specifically Excel and Access
Strong written / verbal communication skills
Self starter and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Customer service focus, with ability to manage timelines and meet tight deadlines
