Regeneron currently markets ARCALYST (R) (rilonacept) Injection for Subcutaneous Use and EYLEA (TM) (aflibercept) Injection. Additional therapeutic candidates are in earlier stage development programs in cholesterol reduction, allergic conditions, pain, and cancer.

The Senior Manager, Market Research will be accountable for designing, implementing and analyzing the results of studies in order to assess customer needs and reaction to products and services. The person in this role will skillfully utilize market research tools and techniques to assist in the development of marketing and sales strategies. This position requires expertise in study design and interpretation as well as a broad understanding of Regeneron's products and markets. The Sr. Manager, Market Research will design and execute research/analyses to support pre-launch strategic development of products, as well as develop and manage market research plans and budgets. This individual will analyze competition and identify potential marketing opportunities and threats, as well as participate in forecasting products and markets.

' Responsible for conducting market research studies to assess the needs, behaviors and attitudes of key customer groups.

' Interpretation of business issues into concise market research objectives and market research studies with clear and specific deliverables. This analysis can include competitive product data by specialty and market segment, to include new and current product indications, product positioning, promotional and sales materials or information, future market opportunities and market and sales data by specialty

' Responsible for identifying and addressing brand issues and responsible for managing all market research/analysis projects in support of the brand strategy, product promotion, evaluation of new market opportunities

' Identify current and future product, market and customer information needs through primary and/or secondary market research

' Determine target markets and marketing strategies based on customer demographics, attitudes and behaviors

' Select and manage outside vendors to execute and analyze research results and provide data presentations with research conclusions and actionable recommendations

' Examine the results provided by consultants and vendors and provide, prepare, and present findings and recommendations to marketing/senior management.

' BA/BS required and a minimum of 10 years' experience in Pharmaceutical, Biotech, or laboratory industry or a minimum of 7 years in health care market research with specific experience in survey design, data analysis (including secondary data), managing vendors and presenting results.

' MBA or other graduate degree desired but not required.

' Oncology experience strongly desired.

' Alliance or co-promotion experience strongly desired.

Required Skills:
' Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to demonstrate analytical skills

' Experience in specialty markets, biologics, competitive intelligence and knowledge of pharmaceutical data sources

' Knowledge of key secondary data sources, and ability to use those sources to provide insights and analyses of market size, market trends, and to supplement primary market research

' Ability to interact, negotiate and support a point of view across multiple levels of management

' Ability to present complex data sets in clear and concise formats

' Ability to identify strategic opportunities

' Ability to manage market research budget

' Strong analytical and organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

' Comfort with statistical software tools

' Experience in Marketing, Sales or other healthcare disciplines and Pharmaceutical sales experience desirable

' Customer relations and sales skills are desirable
