Trulia is looking for a talented and experienced leader to drive revenue optimization, pricing, and forecasting within its largest business—its marketplace business for real estate professionals.
Responsibilities will include understanding revenue drivers and the levers affecting these drivers, prototyping and implementing solutions that maximize revenue, forecasting revenue and performing ad hoc analysis to understand the impact of proposed changes. In addition to rigorous analysis, this person will also be responsible for working closely with product, engineering, and sales to bring recommendations to life, measure their impact, and iterate further.
This is a critical senior role with great opportunities to work on highly important problems that deliver meaningful results to the company. Candidates must be passionate about understanding the business deeply and leveraging advanced analytics to drive it forward.
Work closely with engineering, product, and many other groups within Trulia to strategize, plan, and launch pricing and packaging updates that have a meaningful impact on revenue.
Rapidly develop and test updates to the levers that drive revenue.
Leverage customer segmentation as a key factor to drive revenue optimization.
Develop systems to measure progress on a daily basis and disseminate key performance indicators throughout the organization.
Proven track record and passion for applying analytics to solve complex business problems.
Very strong technical and analytical skills: including SQL, A/B testing, and other statistical analysis.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills—especially in dealing with complex topics.
Past experience with pricing strategy for subscription businesses is a plus.
Graduate degree (MS/MEng/PhD) in a technical discipline is preferred.
