This position leads the development of process and system maps for AS-IS and TO-BE Marketing business processes. Identifies, designs, and implements process and system improvements within Marketing, and between Marketing and other Operations and Support FBA's. Develops RACI models, practices, and guidelines for TO-BE Marketing processes. Manages assigned resource(s). Works with Marketing customers on process and system integration issues and improvements. Performs analysis to support renewal of major Wholesale customer contracts and large new bids.
Engages Marketing department heads and their teams to create process and systems maps for core AS-IS (existing) business processes.
Develops understanding of Marketing vision, strategies, integration and growth plan, and Marketing's 5 year IT roadmap. Identifies internal and external facing process and system opportunities. Collaborates with process owners and designs and implements process improvements (TO-BE processes). Collaborates with system owners. Performs as the business lead for Marketing IT initiatives to design and coordinate system improvements with IT and system owners. Manages assigned resource(s) and ensures cohesiveness between improvements made in external facing and internal facing business processes and systems.
Engages Wholesale Marketing customers extensively to improve Tesoro Wholesale Marketing processes, systems, and customer interactions with a view to meeting and exceeding Tesoro's competition. Works with Wholesale customers to resolve integration issues and actively tracks and resolves the issues internally.
Develops and maintains roles and responsibilities (through RACI models), practices, and guidelines for core marketing processes.
Designs, implements, and maintains performance measures and scorecards to measure marketing process and system improvements.
Performs analysis to support renewal of major Wholesale customer contracts and large new bids.
Education and Experience:
Minimum undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline required.
Minimum 7 years experience with designing and implementing process and system improvements, developing process maps and system diagrams, leading projects to implement new systems or processes and SAP (SD, MM) and SAP Master Data required.
