GENERAL SUMMARY

Position is responsible for providing insights to the Crown Sales organization by analyzing multiple data sources and managing business partnerships with third party vendors. This individual will lead all National sales analysis, reports and presentations and will manage a sales information team to develop and support selling stories within the Sales organization.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage all national level sales reports, presentations and tools used to collect sales data.
  • Interpret, analyze, and synthesize sales data, key metrics and industry data from multiple sources to draw conclusions and develop insights that support selling stories for the organization.
  • Identify growth opportunities and develop business case to support new products.
  • Refine and continuously improve reports and presentations for the Sales organization.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop Sales Information team of two direct reports: a Sales Information Manager and Sales Analyst.
  • Supervise Symphony IRI on-site contract employee in production of basic reporting, analysis, training of new Sales employees, and general IRI support.
  • Oversee vendors and third-party data providers.
  • Complete additional tasks, responsibilities and projects as needed and directed by the Director of Sales Planning & Execution.


  • REPORTING RELATIONSHIP

    Reports directly to the Director of Sales Planning & Execution

    KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • A Bachelor’s degree or job equivalent experience is required with 7+ years of experience in a data management or advanced analytics role.
  • Ability to synthesize syndicated data and extract meaningful information in order to provide knowledgeable responses to inquiries.
  • Project management experience preferred, with experience managing cross-functional teams and multiple projects at once.
  • Experience presenting information in a clear manner to a variety of audiences using various technologies and in-person approach.
  • Experience ensuring data reporting accuracy. Successful employees will have a critical eye and be very detail-oriented.
  • Knowledge of alcohol beverage industry, retail environment and Crown Product portfolio and operations is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and developing others.
  • Must demonstrate proficiency with various software including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Must demonstrate proficiency with various data sources including IRI, Nielsen and internal data systems
