Brief Description

Appirio is looking for an experienced Sr Manager, Solution Marketing to own marketing for Appirio's service offerings and technology in the HCM space, driving the growth of Appirio's technology and community-enabled consulting services.

Responsibilities

As Appirio’s Sr Manager, Solution Marketing for HCM, your responsibilities will include:

Drive outbound marketing and sales enablement for Appirio's HCM service and technology offerings

Work with internal business leads around each of Appirio's service offerings (Strategy, Deployment, Custom Dev, Change Enablement) to refine go-to-market plans including:

Target customer segments

Value proposition and offering

Differentiated positioning

Training and enablement plans

PR plans and demand-gen programs

Develop inbound marketing campaigns (blogs, infographics, slideshares, ebooks, shareable memes/stats, whitepapers and webinars) targeting Appirio's key HCM audiences - HR, Finance, Learning & Development, Talent Management, and IT

Work with industry experts and our R&D team to create HCM-specific technology assets and demos that show what’s possible with cloud, mobile and social technology

Drive sales training and enablement around Appirio's HCM service offerings

Engage directly with sales on select strategic deals to help Appirio win

Clarify deal strategy

Develop messaging and storyline

Create quantitative business case, if needed

Serve as a spokesperson with press, analysts and the financial community

Produce content and collateral around our HCM offerings working with Appirio's creative director and internal team of experts

Presentations, including first call presentations for offerings

Datasheets and website content

Video demos

Webinar content

Sales Enablement assets

Blogs and thought leadership pieces

Work closely with Sales, PR and Marketing Ops to support and drive key topics throughout the company

Education & Required Experience

Bachelors degree, focus on business, marketing or communications preferred

5-7 years of product / solution marketing or related experience such as strategy consulting

Knowledge of HCM, and cloud computing

Enough technical credibility to engage with customers and Appirio practice leads

Based in San Francisco (Appirio’s U.S. Headquarters)
