The Senior Manager, Team Finance is responsible for supporting various team-related financial processes managed by the NBA, WNBA and D- League Offices.

Major Responsibilities
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of the NBA Financial Model, including the development of new functionalities on an as-needed basis and the supervision of the recurring update process.
• Provide support with respect to the calculation of Revenue Sharing and the distribution of information and analyses relating thereto.
• Prepare analyses and support schedules relating to franchise sale transactions and lease negotiations.
• Provide general analytical support for Board of Governors meetings, in addition to other owner committee meetings and conference calls.
• Provide finance support for the quarterly and annual Combined Financial Statements (CFS) process, including the validation of reported results against prior years and against league-wide statistics and assisting with preparation of CFS reports that are presented to the NBA Board of Governors.
• Provide other sophisticated analytical and strategic support relating to significant League and Team initiatives
Required Skills/Knowledge
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• General proficiency with the rest of the Microsoft Office Suite
• Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as an ability to apply higher-level judgment and strategic thinking.
• Compelling presence and ability to manage relationships with key constituents as appropriate at the Teams (e.g., CFOs and their deputies) and League offices.

Experience Needed
• 2+ years of investment banking, corporate finance, or equivalent experience required
Educational Background Required
• Bachelors degree required, preferably in Finance or Economics
