Life Technologies is looking for a Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition Operations in Carlsbad, CA to manage reporting, metrics, budget and overall operational effectiveness for the Global Talent Acquisition team. This role reports to the Head of Talent.

The role will lead a team of professionals focused on on-boarding, talent referral, contingent workforce management, process improvements and project management. In addition to the direct management and development of a functionally diverse team, the role will partner closely with the global talent acquisition leaders, HR Generalist and Specialist teams, and other Internal/External stakeholders to develop and execute staffing/workforce development efforts.

Essential Functions.
Develop and implement consistent Talent Acquisition (TA) functions, processes and procedures.

Lead and manage (directly and indirectly) a global team of Analysts with oversight of a global Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

Provide leadership in the management of outside agency resources, vendors and partners, including: consultants, contingent search firms, job boards and advertising

Manage ongoing implementation and adaption of Global On boarding including system management and New Hire Orientation
Manage Global TA programs to include but not limited to the employee referral program and systems trainings.
Partner with internal teams to optimize TA service delivery

Compile, monitor and maintain the global talent budget and financial models/analysis to support business decisions and ensure scalability.

Develop, analyze and present tools and reports which facilitate talent acquisition decisions.

Ensure compliance (including EEOC and OFCCP) on an on-going basis.

Act as the leader of contingent worker process and function as a liaison with the legal team.
Minimum of 8-10 years progressive experience in a global talent acquisition team with an emphasis on process improvement. Additional HR Experience strongly preferred or combination of Talent Acquisition and HR experience.

Undergraduate degree in business, finance, or similar discipline. MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field strongly preferred.

Demonstrated experience creating and implementing process improvement strategies, preferably on a global level.

Proven success in partnering with and influencing key stakeholders and business leaders.

Strong analytical and judgment skills to identify relevant factors for analysis, select methods and techniques for obtaining solutions, and make sound decisions that work within company policies and procedures.

Proven team leadership experience (direct and/or indirect) is a must.

Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Experience working with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) or Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is a plus.

Knowledge of and experience working with Six Sigma concepts is a plus.

Ability to travel domestically or internationally, as needed.
