Job Description:
The Senior Desktop Engineer's role is to function as a higher-level resource to the IS department. This consultant will ultimately operate as the top desktop engineer to oversee/manage the projects.
The consultant will act as a subject matter expert in the creation, modification, and deployment of Microsoft desktop standard operating environments by drafting, reviewing, modifying and approving design decisions, documentation, within established level of authority prior to implementation. The analyst will also assist in the development of the universal client image and advise the organization regarding client architecture services.
They will migrate to a new desktop management system in the coming year.
Client will migrate away from Novell.

Own the Desktop to Server issues

Migration away from Novell
Assist in Migrating to Virtualization
