COMPANY/DEPARTMENTAL OVERVIEW The Role The Infrastructure team at has 21 full time employees and is responsible for the infrastructure services globally. The network includes global locations and New Jersey, while our metropolitan networks include multiple offices, data centres and homes. The team works closely with other departments and external IT service providers to deliver network solutions. Projects are varied and have included new trade floors, new datacentres, Active/Exchange upgrades, Net App storage, remote access solutions, HD video conference, TV distribution, CCTV, new dealerboard systems, voice recording, network security and Partner homes around the world.

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE: Network engineer primary responsibilities, in addition the global network Mange and deliver complex, geographically disparate IT projects Manage and develop key supplier relationships Provide escalation path for fault resolution, talking directly to end users, suppliers and other IT teams Network monitoring and management, fault resolution, capacity planning, security, patching, maintenance. Working on a mix of projects to include datacentre, offices and remote Partner homes. Working and providing support to the Windows and Unix teams, involving fault fixing, support and preventative maintenance SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES (e. g.

shifts, travel overseas, hours): Shifts are 10 hours between 8am and 6pm in New York - some weekend work will also be necessary Must be available at times outside of these hours in order to resolve outages Must be available as point of escalation and be responsible for network during holiday periods PERSON SPECIFICATION WORK EXPERIENCE/BACKGROUND: Essential Desirable Evidence of delivering complex IT projects using internal and external resources. Good A-level or equivalent and educated to degree level in a numerate subject Relevant work experience in financial environment TECHINICAL/BUSINESS SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE: Essential Desirable Cisco router and switch skills Networking and TCPIP skills Routing skills - OSPF, BGP, VLAN, STP, and Cisco IOS. Cisco Voice and Call Manager skills Dealerboard system skills (IPC preferred) Working knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange and Unix administration Cisco certification Checkpoint Certification Cisco Call Manager training Network security skills - Checkpoint firewall and VPN Cisco Security skills - access lists, VPNs, CBAC Nokia IPSO and Unix skills Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Exchange 2010 Basic Unix Administration OTHER REQUIREMENTS Essential Desirable Self-motivated, determined and able to work under own initiative with minimal supervision. Able to deal effectively with external suppliers and providers.

Able to communicate effectively with end users and senior management Available within 1months in New York Languages - French or Portuguese Ability to travel
