SNVC is seeking a Senior Network Support Technician to join its Property Book team in Temple, TX. Under general direction, the successful candidate will monitor and respond to complex technical control facility hardware and software problems utilizing a variety of hardware and software testing tools and techniques. The Senior Network Support Technician will also serve as a technical and functional training instructor. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provides primary interface with contractor support service groups or provides internal analysis and support to ensure proper escalation during outages or periods of degraded system performance.
May provide network server support.
May function as lead providing guidance and training for less experienced technicians.
May lead and direct the work of others.
Works independently to report and resolve all issues for a geographical area or customer unit.
Coordinates solutions with customers or other Contractors.
Troubleshoots and resolves training, networking and software issues.
May be required to periodically resolve help-desk issues or support other tasks, remotely.
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must have at least five (5) years' of network support experience
Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Visio etc...
Must have working knowledge of PC/network communications hardware/software in a multi-protocol environment, and network management software
Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
Familiarity with relational database concepts, and client-server concepts is preferred
STAMIS and Logistics experience is preferred
A wide degree of creativity, flexibility and latitude is highly desired
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills are highly desired
