ORACLE - Production Support and Development Business Unit: Software Company (McHenry,IL) Location: ILLINOIS (MCHENRY) Requisition Number: FSLG-00008626 Job Type: Regular Business Unit Profile: Responsibilities: Collaborate with developers, project managers, business analysts, and business users in conceptualizing, estimating and developing new software applications and enhancements. Recommend business process flow improvements and clearly communicate problem/resolution process to management. Specific Responsibilities: Design and implement solutions that are reliable, scalable, and perform at a high-level to meet the service levels associated with mission-critical Oracle E-Business Suite solutions. Utilize knowledge of database architecture and best practices for Oracle SQL and PL/SQL coding style and application tuning.
Develop Business solutions using PL/SQL, APEX, and Linux Korn shell scripting. Analyze the root cause of difficult problems involving multiple E-Business Suite Application modules. Create and resolve Service Requests in collaboration with Oracle Support. Performance tuning, application monitoring and support of production applications with distributed teams.
Perform database monitoring, maintenance, reorganizations, resource management, schema management, cloning, and patching. Troubleshoot the R12 architecture and the various application tiers and database tier components including concurrent manager processing and middleware servers. Lead, mentor and facilitate collaboration among team members. Collaborate with other I.S.
Personnel to maintain common e-Business (ERP, CRM, SFA, SCM) strategies. Communicate with internal and external customers and all levels of management,including communicating technical information to nontechnical audiences. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology 7+ (Sr. Developer) years of overall IT/software development experience 5+ years of recent experience as an Oracle developer.
Strong development experience with Oracle PL/SQL: construction of packages, triggers and PL/SQL blocks and Unix Korn shell scripting. Experience designing and developing complex enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, etc.) on large Oracle databases.
