Assists in the implementation and support of the company's applications (i.e., Invision Patient Accounting, Patient Management, Medical Records, Cerner Scheduling integration, and other internal, custom-developed applications) throughout all of their acute care facilities. Monitors and assists in the troubleshooting of issues assigned by their Customer Support Center. Provides support that includes issue resolution,OAS building, and the development and implementation of recommended solutions. The expectation is that this position will deliver high quality solutions that meet or exceed all guidelines and standards.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Licensure, Training and Travel Requirements :
Knowledge: 5 or more years of progressively more responsible healthcare information systems experience that includes patient registration and patient billing application experience. Bachelor's degree preferred. Significant experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
Skills: Working knowledge of system application implementation, enhancement and support methods and practices. Comprehensive working knowledge of computer systems analysis and programming techniques and procedures, including: consulting with users to determine hardware,software or system functional specifications design, development, documentation, analysis, creation, testing, coding, debugging, or modification of computer systems or programs based on and related to user design specifications. Working knowledge of IS standards and quality methods and metrics. General familiarity of user business practices, concepts and terminology sufficient to support the applications. Language proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal fluency.

Basic computer skills: Microsoft Office suite

Travel Requirements: 10 - 30% domestic US travel (depending on projects).
Essential Job Duties
. Performs activities related to the support and enhancement of applications related to Invision Patient Management, Patient Accounting, Medical Records and Cerner Scheduling integration by building and making modifications to screens, TCL's, profiles, and documents.
. Develop detailed documentation of changes/modifications.
. Analyze issues to determine the origin of the issue and provide recommended solutions.
. Performs peer QA on Foundation application changes.
. Has a strong knowledge of and complies with VSAM and Building Standards.
. Participates as a member of a task force as requested.
. Rotates being on-call for the Foundations Team.
. Performs other tasks as required by manager
