To support our company’s strategic initiatives and continued growth, we are currently seeking top talent to join our Marketing Department as a Sr. Point of Sale (POS) Analyst. The Sr. POS Analyst will be responsible for measuring, interpreting, and analyzing results from scan data to determine trends, movement, and success of programs.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Retrieving raw scan data from mainframe which generates information ranked by UPC, commodity classes, and high to low.
Working directly with involved Department Heads from Marketing, MIS or any other department with input. Coordinating the resources of software vendors, internal staff and field operations to address obstacles (both known and unforeseen), establishing time schedules in order to meet deadlines and achieve desired results. Reviewing, testing, and making changes as needed. Following projects through from start to finish.
Ensuring POS related Marketing initiatives are implemented as designed and required objectives are met
Overseeing corporate to store downloads to insure all stores have the latest updates.
Maintaining the accuracy and integrity of retail accounting, computer assisted ordering, store inventories, Distribution Center inventories and warehouse billing.
Overseeing and directing the activities of various Marketing staff to complete Store/Station Master setups, supervisor changes, store closings, and forced product distributions.
Insuring the CF database has accurate and up to date records to bring about the following: The commencement or ceasing of all store computed functioning and reporting. This includes, but is not limited to, proper banking assignments, distribution center delivery schedules, timing of ordering, etc. Maintaining the integrity of store reporting within the Retail Management Hierarchy.
Bachelor of Science degree strongly preferred
Strong retail background, computer literacy, ability to analyze large volumes of complex data, computer navigation, standard computer programs (excel, word, PowerPoint), very strong communication skills
2- 5 years of retail experience, 2-5 years of computer/systems experience
Experience with PDI systems; Pricebook experience strongly preferred
Strong personality and ability to communicate with upper management very frequently
Robust work ethic; experience supervising or managing others at a retail/store level is a plus
Ability to assess, prioritize and react to a very rapid work environment
Capacity to work under stressful conditions and follow through problems to resolution without the need to be constantly directly supervised
