This is a newly created position in the Finance department, reporting to the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis. We are looking for an individual who can create scalable and efficient procurement processes that are highly flexible and at the same time drive cost effective outcomes with new and existing vendors by leveraging his or her existing relationships, negotiating skills and analytical horsepower.
Responsibilities:
Reports to Director of Financial Planning and Analysis
Act as primary point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving day-to-day procurement issues
Oversee vendor acquisition including vendor due diligence
Assist with developing standard SLAs for respective business units and related services
Active review, evaluation and consolidation of ongoing vendor relationships to improve unit economics and contract terms to drive significant cost savings
Perform detailed contract reviews in conjunction with legal and business stakeholders to reduce risk and create more favorable customer terms
Become a business partner to IT, Engineering and general business functions to assist with negotiating contracts and ensuring superior service delivery from our vendors
Re-engineer the procurement process as needed to enable us to scale appropriately and comply with Sarbanes Oxley and related internal and external compliance initiatives
Manage and execute purchase orders and purchase requisitions to support the procurement process
Evaluate the purchase order policy and approval limits to ensure appropriate segregation of duties and correct delegation of authority
Manage RFP processes from front to back across a range of service providers
Assist with annual budgeting and routine financial forecasting processes as needed
Maintain CAPEX budget database
Assist with reviews of facilities expansions, requirements gathering, lease reviews and modeling of rents
Qualifications:
5 - 7 years of progressive responsibilities in procurement, cost analysis and contract negotiations
Understanding of a broad range of IT capital equipment, IT service contracts, telephony, enterprise software and related products
Possesses valuable relationships across the IT landscape and deep institutional knowledge of vendors in the space and their products
Significant experience driving Request for Proposal / Request for Pricing bids across both technology and non-technology vendors
Experience with expanding facilities and office space to support growth
Bachelor's Degree in Business from reputable university
Experience working in a high tech environment, preferably a public company
Must be fluent in Excel – vlookups, pivot tables, if/then statements, should be old hat
