Evaluate business opportunities to define and optimize product portfolio for the sale of the company’s data analytic product. Coordinate with engineering, sales, marketing, and support to understand customer requirements, to promote the sale of company products, and to provide sales support through analysis and understanding of targeted markets, market trends, new technology, customer business issues and competitive environment. Work with product development to create products as well as plan and modify product configurations to meet customer needs and validate early product definitions with customers. Confer with existing customer base and prospects to understand what features/functionality they want to see in the product. Collaborate with sales teams to define a vision and strategy for our data analytics product while driving a balance between internal development priorities, active partnerships, and necessary acquisitions. Develop a clear product plan and respond to proposals for specific customer requirements that supports the product vision and reflects an adequate balance between the tactical and the strategic. Create product brochures, data sheets, white papers, application notes, presentations, and other sales collateral. Prepare and deliver technical presentations that explain products or services to customers and prospective customers. Translate non-technical customer requirements into technical requirements for engineering. Ensure revenue and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or related.
5 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, Product Manager, Product Strategist, or related.
Experience with TCP protocols.
Experience with Probability Theory.
Software Engineering experience.
Sales or Product Management experience.
