As the Senior Product Marketing Manager at LocalEdge, you will be a vital part of a fast growing company, helping to build a world class online marketing service for small businesses across the nation. You will be part of a team of smart, successful innovators who are passionate about successfully rolling out digital products to the SMB market by combining data analysis with proactive market research. You will lead and support the launch of new and existing products, develop offers and merchandising, drive product positioning and messaging to support both our sales and customer service teams. The ideal candidate will be confident with data analysis, be a creative marketer and an experienced project manager with proven success in product marketing. Business to business experience and digital product marketing are preferred.

• Work with Vice President of Marketing to establish LocalEdge’s brand and product marketing strategy, goals, tactics and budget

• Propose new offers, new products, new packaging and positioning of existing products to drive acquisition and retention objectives; develop financial models to prove viability of offers / products / packages

• Work with the Retention, Acquisition and Sales Training teams to develop product marketing strategy including offers, packaging, messaging, sales collateral, sales decks, videos and web support designed to meet or exceed objectives

• Work with design team to create compelling sales collateral

• Design and optimize internal product communication plan

• Identify vertical market opportunities and create product / sales / pricing strategies that match

• Understand product, market, pricing and positioning opportunities for key customer segments

• Work with product managers to support product roadmaps and develop optimal positioning for features and packages they devise

• Stay abreast of industry trends, competitors and marketing best practices

• Work with sales department to elicit feedback surrounding product marketing initiatives and activities

• Develop and utilize smart data analytics to track and measure performance of products, verticals, customer segments and other marketing efforts

Desired Skills and Experience
• 5+ years of product marketing experience
• 2+ years experience managing direct reports
• Experience managing product marketing function
• Creative thinker with the ability to come up with “out of the box” marketing ideas
• Entrepreneurial, take-charge attitude
• Leader with the ability to work well within and across departments
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Excellent writer
• Strong quantitative analysis
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• B2B marketing experience required
• SMB marketing experience highly preferred
• Digital product marketing experience highly preferred
• SEO, PPC, Mobile and Social Media experience preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office required (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Bachelor’s degree required
