The Sr. Project Manager for Security will work directly with the team designing, and implementing projects aimed at implementing new defenses into our platform, including infrastructure, investigative tools, and customer-facing features. The ideal candidate obtains a “go-getter” attitude with proven project management experience in a software or Internet organization and must work well in a demanding, dynamic, and collaborative organization. As a Project Manager, you will be directly responsible for escalating, tracking, and managing all aspects of projects and initiatives as assigned.

Here’s an overview of what will be involved:
Manage the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple projects

Lead and contribute to the end-to-end product readiness process

Own the daily relationship/communication with functional owners for assigned projects/initiatives

Collaborate closely with product teams and leads to determine the needs of the organization

Review high-level deliverables across projects

Generate and track ROI for projects assigned

Manage scope and minimize exposure and risk across multiple projects

Identify opportunities for change and the ability to convey the need for that change across the organization

Liaison between customer experience, operations management, technology, and product management

Coordinate and manage the development and implementation of new or existing projects across all teams

Responsible for managing master project list of issues, bugs, and feature enhancements

Manage other team members when necessary

Determine new and creative ways to employ teams on projects and distribute responsibilities

Identify required resources for scheduled projects

Developing key metrics to track project success

Maintain up-to-date project schedules and provide status and risk updates to senior management

Writes or contribute to technical documentation and knowledge base as needed

Continually seek ways to improve our products and systems, including operational and reporting efficiencies

Understand customer experience and operational processes, tools used and underlying technology

Participate in special projects as assigned

Requirements:
4+ years experience with a web-based company, responsible for the success of consumer-facing features or back-end services.

Experience with requirement gathering, spec writing, iterative product development practices, A/B testing, managing uncertainty, understanding analytics, driving results.

Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile/Scrum), processes, software and procedures

Proven experience with change management processes

Adept at both working independently and collaborating on a team (organized, driven, good with project management).

Able to handle confidential information

Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills; experience interacting with all levels of management

Ability to adapt and respond positively and effectively to change, delay, and/or shifting priorities and goals

Strong product intuition and understanding of what makes products tick.

Nice to Have:
BS/MS degree in technical field (CS, engineering, math, physics, etc.), or equivalent work experience.

Have experience developing and driving a technical roadmap and the supporting planning/architecture process.

Experienced with driving agile development scrum processes.
