We are looking for a customer focused, business savvy Sr. Risk Management Specialist. This is a business critical position responsible for identifying, minimizing and eliminating risk of accident loss, and to resolve litigated and complex worker’s compensation claims incurred by the organization in a timely and cost-effective manner. In addition, this position will support company-wide loss control programs, and successfully cultivate and manage key partner relationships.
Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this challenging and exciting opportunity, you should possess 5+ years of hands on workers compensation experience in a high-paced risk management/claims department. Ability to manage complex and high exposure claim files. Must possess advanced knowledge of medical, legal, and claims terminology; Be detailed oriented, able to multi-task and prioritize varied workload, and take direction from more than one person; ability to maintain confidentiality. Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
