Position Summary:
Reporting to the Software Development Supervisor the SharePoint Engineer is a full-time position located in San Diego, California.

Essential Job Duties:
  • Heavily involved in SharePoint 2010 engineering (administering, installing and configuring, designing core and advanced solution).
  • Configuration of all SharePoint Central Admin functionality related to Web Applications, Site Collections, Backups, and Security.
  • Configuration and maintenance of SharePoint Managed Applications (Search, BDC, Access, Excel, Visio, Metadata, Secure Store, User Profiles, as well as Office Web Apps and FAST Search).
  • Designing and maintaining Workflow solutions and performing other customizations using Designer 2010.
  • Designing and maintaining Form Templates using InfoPath 2010.
  • Performing SharePoint solution deployments.
  • Farm Monitoring, Reporting, and Growth Planning.
  • Troubleshooting farm issues and proactively resolving problems.
  • Experience and understanding of SharePoint 2010 end-user functionality, site and site collection administration.
  • Performing Branding, Master Page, Page Layout, Web Part, and other content customizations.
  • Update job knowledge by studying, attending training, and obtaining Microsoft certifications.

Minimum Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience administering SharePoint 2010 (and 2007) farms and SharePoint engineering.

Work Environment: While performing duties of this job, the employee is required to work in an office environment, and the noise level is usually moderate to loud .
