Job Description:
SNVC is seeking a SharePoint Designer to provide support to a Project Office to align with the Program Executive Officer Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS) and the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology’s (ASA(ALT)) mission, vision and policies by providing SharePoint Design support and program management staff support services. This project will involve assisting the successful reporting of critical project information such as cost, schedule, and performance so that I3MP senior leadership can make informed management decisions. It will include the introduction of cost savings initiatives, adherence to integrated multi-functional schedules and execution of projects which help the government track performance parameters.
  • Recommend an approach to Configure and Administer Project Server
  • Set up global templates and reports
  • Create macros using Visual Basic to automate recurring tasks
  • Understand Critical Path and Critical Chain capabilities
  • Proficiency in creating new views & Gantt charts
  • Use SharePoint 2010 and Dashboard Designer to create real-time reporting capabilities in support of documented business needs
  • Author requirements documents to support system configuration
Required Skills:
  • Microsoft Certification Preferred
  • Expert level experience working with Microsoft Project Server
  • Expert level experience working with Microsoft SharePoint
  • PMI-SP or PMP Preferred
  • DoD Acquisition knowledge (Acq101) Preferred
  • Capable of reporting highly technical information to non-technical superiors
  • Solid background in requirements development and requirements traceability.
  • Candidates must possess an Active DoD Secret Clearance
Required Experience:
  • 8+ years of experience, with 5 or more years in DoD workspace
  • 5+ years supporting Program Management Office (PMO) & Project Management
  • 3-5 years experience working with MS Project Server & MS Project Professional
  • 1-2 years experience working with Visual Basic
  • Experience creating Master Schedule from scratch
  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint and its technologies: Web Parts, Event Receivers, Master Pages, MMS, and SharePoint Designer.
  • Experience in developing InfoPath forms, Workflows (WWF), custom controls, application pages and integrating with external systems.
  • Experience in working with SharePoint Object model and following SDLC.
  • Experience in developing and deploying features as SharePoint Solutions.
  • Exposure in creating site definitions, configuration/customization of SharePoint sites.
  • Serves as a subject matter resource in the field of SharePoint technologies by maintaining a strong understanding of the field and its related technologies. Able to create requirements for Sharepoint Development based on user needs and functional/business rules, requirements, and processes.
  • Translates business requirements into technical functional specifications for the development of SharePoint applications, processes or functionality for automatic publishing. Solves complex programming challenges. Leads team members in implementation of system solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint and its technologies: Web Parts, Event Receivers, Master Pages, MMS, and SharePoint Designer.
  • Experience in developing InfoPath forms, Workflows (WWF), custom controls, application pages and integrating with external systems.
  • Experience in working with SharePoint Object model and following SDLC.
  • Experience in developing and deploying features as SharePoint Solutions.

  • Familiarity with PowerShell and STSADM.
