As a Sr. Architect with Anthelio Cloud Services, the successful candidate will work as part of a fast paced team in a constantly evolving and changing environment to design, implement, and document cloud infrastructure services for Anthelio and its customers. The architect will be responsible for providing operational support, which includes cloud service development, advanced troubleshooting, architectural design, and management of the overall health of services running Anthelio’s cloud. The architect will interact directly with end customers, both internal and external to Anthelio, to ensure continuity and customer satisfaction of services on Anthelio’s cloud.
In addition to direct operational and architectural responsibilities, the successful architect will participate in developing the operational models, processes, procedures, and organizational structures that will be used for delivery of cloud services to internal and external customers.
This position is multifaceted in that it allows for in depth work developing and supporting a production cloud, interfacing with tenants and diverse services contained within the cloud, and contributing to and influencing future cloud technologies and products. This is a highly technical, hands-on role. The successful candidate possesses first-hand experience with a broad variety of enterprise computing infrastructure and cloud computing technologies.
The candidate will provide technical leadership, implementation and management related to cloud architecture, including design and implementation of a variety of solution configurations for both managed and unmanaged hosting scenarios using VMware software defined data center models. The candidate must also demonstrate strong documentation and communication skills required to complete the transition of solutions to either build or support teams.
Duties and Responsibilities:
q Demonstrated mastery of cloud computing (IaaS) concepts and the ability to articulate these concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
q Hands on experience building, and managing cloud IaaS environments using IaaS platforms with specific focus on products by VMware, but with understanding of platforms provided by Rackspace, AWS, HP, Citrix, etc.

Education, Experience & Licensure:
q Four Year Technical Degree related field required and/or a minimum of 12 years of varied IT work experience in a managed services environment.
q Seven to ten years minimum experience in Server, Desktop and Network Support
q Three years minimum in technical project leadership and/or management experience.
q Two years experience in a Health Care environment
q Certification desirable in Microsoft, Novell, VMware, or Linux products, i.e. MCSE, MCNE, VCP, CLE, etc
Skills & Requirements:
q Verbal and written communication skills for a diverse customer base including, executives, technical and administrative staff
q Excellent analytical skills to discuss problems, analyze solutions/options, evaluate and enable improvement of processes
q Leadership skills such as coaching, conflict resolution, and peer mentoring to aide in the development of personnel

o Data network components (routers, switches, hubs)
o Network design concepts
o Network and server monitoring and maintenance tools
o IP, IPX, voice and LAN/WAN services

o Health care applications
q Must be willing to travel, 25% + may be required
