The Senior Staff Engineer will be responsible to manage critical project or program in wet processing R&D team.
The expertise and management skill of this individual will provide leadership in developing new technology which is vital for current and future filtration product for microelectronics industries. Working with business team to initiate, develop and launch product containing new technology with sound financial justification and product launch deliverables.
Lead, coordinate or supervise the program team to do product design, pilot and launch reviews. Work with different departments or groups to resolve issues for the new product development. Determine and request budget and Capex for the program and launch the product on time within budget. Work with internal or external groups to explore new technology and define technical roadmap. Understand the current filtration technology and has passion to innovate and drive the project. Efficiently use project management skill and statistical analysis to manage the project.
Supervise and prepare prototype samples for customer testing. Create IP or patent to secure Pall IP space. Mentoring young engineer or engineering team members. Help marketing application to support customer in terms of product qualification or trouble shooting. Up to 25% travel for customer visits, meetings or conference.
BS in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering or materials science or related discipline required; Masters or PhD in related engineering field a plus.
5 + years’ experience product development in filtration technology and/or semiconductor industry including mechanical design and materials science is required.
Proven experience in project management and coordination, proven success of new product development, cross functional team working with geographically dispersed teams.
Demonstrated experience with statistical analysis program, DOE, MS Project and Excel.
Experience working in the semiconductor, filtration, or solar industrial process will be plus
