We are currently seeking a Sr. Support Engineer to join our Network Service Operations team.

Maintain a multitude of Windows server environments running Trading Technologies software by facilitating customer requests, upgrades, new exchange initiatives and network related changes.

Provide leadership and expertise in administering and creating low latency trading environments.

Provide level 3 support to global NOC

Being attentive to the needs of a customer and keeping them informed on the status of their inquiry or resolution of their production issue(s) on a regular basis

Assist clients in all technical/functional aspects relating to TT software

Document information and data helpful to other team members and clients

Understand, prioritize and drive resolution of issues through hands-on involvement and highly effective communication between involved parties (client, vendor & internally)

Contribute to developing a superior support experience for our customers

Required Experience:
4+ years of experience in an IT/Financial support role

4+ years of experience with Windows Server Administration

Experience building and supporting VMWare environments

Experience supporting SANs and Databases

Experience supporting trading software, both front end and back end applications

Experience with helpdesk ticketing systems

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Able to work on a team or in an individual setting

Aptitude and skill for training other team members

Self-starter type of individual

Possess strong network knowledge from a server and network perspective

Some linux experience required
