SNVC is seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer to assists the program office with a full range of Systems Engineering expertise in support of Korea projects. The successful candidate will work with the IPT leader and team members to identify all SE actions and required information related to the requirements, engineering, development, and execution of the SE processes. The successful candidate will provide technical evaluations, SE planning, requirements analysis, functional analysis and allocation, design synthesis, verification, work breakdown structure, technical reviews, audits, risks management planning. The successful candidate will support program reviews evaluating technical plans and SE performance of industry partner execution. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Supports integration efforts with other contracting personnel to identify and resolve problems
  • Coordinates and prepares SE program documents including, but not limited to, systems engineering documents, memorandums, SE program briefings, and other technical briefings as required
  • Supports long-range systems engineering program planning for assigned projects and the preparation of program briefings for higher headquarters
  • Augments the IPT Leader at various implementation meetings in person or via telecom/ VTC such as weekly and quarterly status reviews and Systems Engineering reviews
  • Records and compiles meeting minutes and action items for record and development of trip reports
  • Maintains automated file system and databases for IPT Leader
  • Develops and updates reoccurring reports as needed.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

  • Must hold a current SECRET security clearance

  • Must have 10 years Army or DoD experience either as a military personnel, government civilian, or as a contractor supporting System Engineering efforts for the Army or DoD. This experience must include program management support experience to an Army or DoD Acquisition Program Office

  • Must be Level III Systems Engineering DAWIA certified or civilian equivalent

  • Must have working knowledge of CAN, MAN and WAN Networks to include: Voice, Data, VoIP, OSP, ISP, wireless, and Data Centers

  • Must have working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project and Power Point

Other Qualifications:
  • Strong leadership, technical, communication, and organization skills are highly desired

  • The ability to be a "self-starter" is highly desired

***The duties of this position require that the incumbent travel frequently and sometimes on short notice, possible for extended periods to OCONUS/CONUS locations using the most expeditious mode of transportation available.***
