Sr. Technical Writer (Job Number: 330965)
Functions: Will Develops, drafts, revises, and edits reports, articles, manuals, specifications, presentation materials, and other technical documents. Uses rough outlines and resource materials, and interprets information obtained through research or provided by technical specialists. Applies knowledge of military documentation content and format standards to prepare, edit and publish technical materials.
Bachelor's in Technical, Business, Mgmt discipline degree or in English, Journalism, or Technical Writing.
5 year experience in technical writing, including the preparation of original technical manuals, reports, and other technical documentation on the operation, maintenance, installation, and testing of electronic equipment. Must be familiar with military standards and specifications governing the preparation of technical documentation.
Associates in Technical, Business, Mgmt discipline degree or in English, Journalism, or Technical Writing.
7 years experience editing, preparing, and producing technical manuals, specifications, military standards, and other technical reports and documentation, which includes at least two years of specialized experience in the electronics field. Familiarity with standard military formats and practices. Must be knowledgeable of proper grammar, punctuation, spelling, and English usage.
