The Global Trading Team is responsible for the execution of all orders for Mellon Capital. It is a global operation with active participation in over 60 different countries and across all liquid asset classes. We leverage sophisticated and integrated technology to empower our traders to focus on markets and achieve best execution. We also work in concert with the portfolio management and research teams to develop execution strategies that meet their specific investment objectives.
We are currently looking to hire an experienced Equity Trader to join our US trading team in San Francisco. The trader has to be intelligent and ambitious, and be able to think critically to solve complex problems.
* Manage and execute orders
* Develop, employ and evaluate trading strategies
* Analyze and report on transactions costs
* Disseminate market information to portfolio managers and other traders
* Research and develop trading technologies and systems
* 5+ years of experience
* Knowledge of capital markets and various investment instruments
* Strong analytical and quantitative skills
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Attention to detail
* Computer programming skills preferred
* US work visa is required
