Provides engineering and design leadership on the development of unified communications solutions and other converged technologies. Utilizes software and hardware to merging presence technologies, voicemail, e-mal, and phone networks into university systems. Provides middleware programming to develop and enhance supported systems improving communication to connect people, information, and teams, helping to enable comprehensive and effective collaboration at the University.

Minimum Qualifications

Knowledge of the application and implementation of SDKs and APIs. Knowledge with middleware programming and structured software development, using programs such as C++, Pearl, Java and others. Ability to drive results in a complex environment and to work and finish multiple projects concurrently.

Preferred Qualifications

Cisco certified associate, professional or expert level career certifications, such as, Cisco Certified Network

Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert or equivalent knowledge.

Special Requirements

40 hour work week Monday-Friday; Some evenings and weekends; rotating on call
