The Time Warner Cable Corporate office currently seeks a Staff I Accountant for our Transactional Accounting Services Department. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.

Position Summary

The primary responsibility of the position is to calculate and process the financial data associated with preparing TWC franchise fee, royalty fee and pay-per-view payments in compliance with contractual obligations, Corporate Policies and Procedures and GAAP.

Essential Job Functions:

Calculate amounts owed for franchise fee, royalty fee and pay-per-view fees monthly and process payments accurately

and timely and in accordance with contractual obligations
Utilizes computer applications to compile, retrieve and summarize all source data needed to calculate pay-per-view,

franchise fee, and revenue share payments

Analyze pay-per-view, franchise fee, and revenue share payments and explain any variances
Communicate with the Regions and other corporate departments to obtain information needed to process payments
Prepare Revenue allocation schedules used to calculate franchise fee payments
Update and maintain revenue share and franchise fee databases and payment master listings.
Process Revenue Share ownership and contract changes
Maintain file of new revenue share agreements and ensure accurate and timely payments as notified of new agreements
Identify opportunities for improvement and standardization and raise opportunities to the appropriate supervisor
Prepare payment analysis, trend analysis, research fluctuations, and provide explanation to management with regards to

payment calculations
Prepare work papers in a clear and concise manner in accordance with management and external auditor requirements
Prepares ad hoc financial reporting requests, other analyses and special projects as requested by management
Performs duties in compliance with GAAP, company and department policies and procedures, internal controls and

Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
Provides superior internal and external customer service and develop positive working relationships

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience
At least three years related experience
Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills; must be able to communicate ideas and issues effectively and concisely

to all levels of management, internal and external auditors and outside contacts
Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to read, analyze and interpret contractual documents (associated with processing franchise fees, royalty fees and

program supplier payments), corporate procedures, technical procedures and/or governmental regulations
Proficient in MS Office, specifically MS Excel and MS Access (common excel functions used in TAS include vlookup, getdata,

pivot tables and linking to Access database)
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision under stressful conditions and coordinate the completion of multiple

tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment adhering to strict deadlines
Must be able to work flexible hours, including hours beyond the normal work week when required
Must be able to pay close attention to detail and understand oral and written instructions
Must demonstrate flexibility and ability to adapt to changing processes and demands
Must display a positive attitude dedicated towards achieving results for the "team" as well as providing quality service and accuracy
Must be a self-starter that takes ownership for his/her work
Displays a strong ethical/moral character

Preferred Qualifications:

PeopleSoft accounting and data extraction (query) software experience
Working knowledge of CSG and ICOMS billing system
Automated Account Reconciliation Tool (AART) experience

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent training,

education and experience.
