Job Description:
The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Research Institute is an interdisciplinary institution dedicated to conducting basic, clinical and translational research on conditions and diseases that affect children is seeking a Staff Account II.

This position is working within the Research Finance Department of the Research Institute. The desired candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree with 1-3 years related experience in accounting or finance. Experience with clinical research preferred.

In addition the desired candidates will have proved successful performance in a high-intensity work environment.

Excellent problem identification and problem solving skills. Teamwork skills Flexible. Detailed. Ability to handle multiple tasks. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to work with other departments to coordinate and achieve goals.

The candidate must be able to:
Coordinate PB Billing process on a monthly basis.
Create invoices to submit to external sponsors and follow up for payment.
Maintain A/R Aging report and report monthly to Director of CTFM.
Prepare grant closeouts and reconcile accounts as needed to ensure proper overhead has been applied.
Prepare cost transfers and journal entries when needed.

FBI Fingerprint Clearance
Drug Screening
