The Staff Accountant will provide support for daily organization of accounting functions to ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial data, assist in analyzing financial information, and maintain record of assets, liabilities profit and loss

Prepare daily Trustee bank spreadsheets for processing.
Responsible for preparing journal entries and reconciliations.
Assist in the monthly close and preparation of various schedules.
Conduct research, perform account analysis and prepare financial reports as requested.
Perform bank transfers, file uploads and bank reconciliation.
Assist with special projects as required.
May perform ad hoc analytical and financial analysis.
Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments.
Excellent analytical skills.
Must be willing and able to work in a fast paced environment, perform well under pressure, multi-task and meet aggressive deadlines.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
Two to five (2-5) years of relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Exceptional computer skills.
Familiarity with Sage Mas 500 or similar accounting software a plus.
Experience with Microsoft Office.
