This is a professional position responsible for supporting the Assistant Controller in providing timely, clear, and accurate financial information. How you will contribute:
This is a great opportunity to perfect your planning and organizing skills by preparing monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts. Balancing daily deposits across multiple entities will allow you to showcase strong problem solving skills. Preparation of corporate personal property tax returns in addition to weekly and monthly financial reporting and analysis will allow you to demonstrate a strong attention to detail. Performing month end closing tasks and generating and processing daily journal entries will also be responsibilities of this role. Accounting functions performed will relate to accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash collections, payroll, and general accounting. Strive to become an instrumental team member by identifying areas for improvement. You will be challenged to excel beyond your expectations in a team-oriented environment.
What you need to qualify:
Ahern will help make the most of your Bachelor degree in Accounting. One to three years of experience is also preferred. Being proficient in Microsoft Office and possessing a thorough understanding of a general ledger structure will be essential. You can stand out above other candidates by demonstrating the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven work environment. A commitment to providing exceptional customer service, possessing strong written and verbal communication skills, and being able to execute tasks with a great amount of detail will be crucial.
