Responsible for the accounting of the University's capital project funds. Queries, reviews and analyzes general ledger transactions for capitalization into the University's centralized Asset Management System. Prepares or assists in the preparation of routine capital project and special ad hoc reports. Assists in the compilation of data used in the annual general purpose financial statements as it relates to capital projects and Auxiliary/Service Unit Accounting operations. Performs other duties as assigned.
30 hours of accounting at a college level; Microsoft Word 12 months; Microsoft Excel 24 months; PeopleSoft experience.

Required Applicant Documents
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or business related field and 24 months experience as an Accountant. Will accept 48 months of equivalent experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree (total of 72 months experience as an Accountant).
