An important contributor within the Accounting department in creating timely and accurate financial statements and data analysis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain day to day department transactions and data inputs
Collect and analyze cost data, maintain managerial accounting data
Prepare financial and operational data and compile reports.
Assist in the monthly closing process and help to manage the month-end closing and reconciliation process by preparing assigned journal entries, producing/printing assigned departmental reports, reconciling assigned accounts, and maintaining account reconciliation controls.
Review, investigate, and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports
Assists with projects such as budget, audits, and process testing
Prepares various other reports or projects, as requested.
Provide excellent customer service to internal and external sources. Communicate with co-workers, management, vendors, customers and others in a courteous and professional manner.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in finance, accounting or related field, from four-year college or university; and three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills knowledge of Database software; Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software. Extremely strong excel and access skills a must. Other Skills and Abilities
