Fameccanica North America (FNA) is a market leader in the Design and Manufacturing of machines used by major consumer goods companies for the production of disposable products such as diapers, sanitary napkins, detergent packing, and paper processing.
We are looking for a full-time Staff Accountant for our location in West Chester, OH. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for moderately complex accounting relating to the maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger and the resulting management reports and financial statements.
Candidates should be energetic, motivated, detail-oriented and enjoy working in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:
Managing AR including: preparing / submitting invoices to customers using Oracle, posting cash receipts, and preparing daily banking reports and monthly reconciliations for intercompany balances and down-payments
Maintaining Fixed Assets using Oracle and conducting the bi-annual inventory
Auditing employee expense reports according to policy, ensuring correct account coding and reconciling reports to credit card statement
Handling the month end close: coordinating with other departments on month end cut off activities, maintaining supporting schedules and roll forwards for balance sheet accounts, preparing monthly reconciliations to general ledger, assisting in completing various Corporate Reports and preparing Month End Accruals
The ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 2 – 4 years experience
Thorough understanding of accounting through past experience in creating financial statements, providing financial reporting, and applying GAAP
Demonstrated experience working effectively both independently and within a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the creation and linking of spreadsheets and pivot tables
Excellent analytical , organizational and communication skills
Ability to be a self starter and work in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment with minimal supervision
High degree of ERP systems literacy; Oracle or SAP a plus
