Assist with organization and implementation of all ESL office Leominster campus activities; provides support and assistance to Dean of Leominster Campus, ESL Academic Counselor, Site Manager, Academic Liaison, ESL faculty, staff and students in relation to ESL . Provide referral and outreach to ABE / ESOL Leominster. Supervise campus work-study students. Answer multi-line phone, greet visitors, and schedule appointments.
AS degree preferred, concentration in office administration or management or additional certification/education in office administration preferred. Strong customer service experience required, Spanish bilingual required. Experience working with diverse constituents. Strong interpersonal skills, accuracy, and attention to detail are critical. 1-3 years previous, professional work experience in higher education setting preferred. Must be comfortable working in a busy office environment and with balancing multiple demands. Proficiency with M/S Office required. Proficiency with Elucian (SunGard Banner) preferred.
Part Time Non Professional
Triage ESL prospective students and families for college enrollment (refer students, process inquiries and maintain confidential contact records)
Facilitate referral and outreach of prospective students and families to ABE / ESOL Leominster site. Distribute proper information to third parties in compliance with applicable laws and regulations; Process registration and add/drop forms, Collect payments and make deposits;
Greet all students and/or visitors (faculty, librarians, staff, tutors, etc.) to ESL office, provide assistance and referral and has students fill out appropriate forms as necessary. Schedule advising, placement testing and/or student support service (Veterans, Transfer, Career, Disability, etc.) counseling appointments; Compose, answer and distribute correspondence and handle telephone and walk-in inquiries as required; Maintain appropriate, confidential records; Access confidential student information; Liaison to APEX Property Management for general maintenance needs of the office. Perform Banner data entry of applications and support materials; Train and supervise work-study students. Maintain databases and files in support of assigned campus programs. Maintain instructional documentation for ESL in SharePoint and/or Titan database. Perform other job related duties as required or assigned by the Campus Dean and/or ESL Academic Counselor.
