** Receiving, inspecting, recording and logging materials into the inventory
** Process customer orders for publications
** Maintain physical inventory of publications (onsite and warehouse)
** Build/assemble publication pieces for resale
** Invoicing customers for publication orders
** Reconciling sales/invoicing with payments
** Calling on aged receivables
** Assist with annual warehouse inventory
** Reconciling invoicing statements to inventory counts
** Maintain good working relationships with vendors
** Notifying companies of damaged shipments and coordinating returns
** Preparing a variety of reports
** Assisting customers with problems or returns

** Ensuring timely shipment, pick-up and delivery of office mail
** Mail collection and distribution to staff
** Operate mail machine equipment and computer(s)
** Outgoing mail processing
** Preparing bulk mailings
** Shipping and receiving boxes (UPS and USPS)
** Produce usage reports
** Monitor/replenish postage for mail machine
** Sorting and forwarding deliveries

** Performing clerical functions such as data entry and word processing
** Posting of accounting journal entries.
** Maintaining filing systems
** Backup for receptionist on occasion
** Other duties as assigned

Department Preferences
Prior experience processing and shipping customer orders for products. Prior experience in a mail room receiving and distributing mail and packages. Prior experience maintaining a physical and electronic inventory. Prior data entry experience. Basic knowledge of debits/credits and ability to perform basic math functions.

Prior experience with Peachtree software or equivalent.

Physical Requirements:
Regular exposure to physical and/or mental stress or discomfort. Ability to lift heavy objects (50 pounds or over) on a repetitive and daily basis. Ability to climb ladders and load dollies on a regular basis.

Required Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent OR any equivalent combination of education and related experience.

6-12 months of office/clerical experience.
