Perform clerical, secretarial and some administrative duties.
Additional Position Summary Details:
Answer telephone; assist with Commencement and registration; record credits, including for the following: transfer, proficiency exams, military, and advanced placement; verify and update credit for new and transfer students and credits for graduation, etc.; process former undergraduate and post-baccalaureate student applications, outgoing transcripts, approved change of grade forms, etc.; process, stamp, and seal teacher certification and scholarship forms; update Board of Regents requirements; scan and index documents. Responsibilities also include student file maintenance and archiving, determining transient eligibility and processing related correspondence; microfilm transcripts retrieval and copying; processing fax requests, readmission acceptance and denial, transcript requests and former student applications letters and other related correspondence; copying/mailing course descriptions; directing student workers, retrieving and transmitting core audits upon request from advisors; recording transcript receipt dates and listing holds in Banner; and performing other job related duties as required.

Minimum Education Required:
High school diploma or equivalent; three or more months of post-secondary education
Minimum Experience Required:
One or more years of work related experience, including data entry (working half-time or more)
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Effective communication (verbal and written), organizational, and human relations skills; proficiency with PC and Microsoft Office Applications software, including word processing, spreadsheet and databases; ability to work well in a diverse environment; successful completion of background investigation prior to employment.
