This is a temporary position to assist with coverage from March 2013 through June/July 2013.
Provide clerical support to the Administration Office of the College, which currently included the President’s Office, Administrative Services, MWCC Foundation

Minimum of 3-5 years prior office experience; Proficiency with the computer and related software including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint; Also proven experience using the Internet; Strong interpersonal skills; Ability to establish and maintain professional working relationships; Strong communication skills, written and verbal; Ability to use proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling; Strong customer service skills; Ability to operate a variety of office equipment; Ability to work independently once projects have been assigned; Demonstrated organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills; Ability to prioritize/handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

Position Type:

Perform regular secretarial and clerical duties for the Administrative Offices; Greet, assist and direct all visitors; Assist with telephones – answer and direct incoming calls for Administrative office staff; Assist with large mailings and other special projects and events as assigned; Receive and distribute mail for the complex; Expedite paperwork to other departments, for signatures, etc., as required; Coordinate and schedule meetings, prepare facility reservation forms, and notify appropriate personnel/departments orally or in writing as requested; Order office supplies, order copier supplies, and perform routine copier maintenance, as needed; Maintain Boardroom schedule; Assist with filing, copying, faxing, etc., as needed; Help maintain electronic communication distribution lists; Prepare necessary forms and paperwork as needed; Assist with the maintenance of databases; Attend evening and weekend functions as requested; Other duties as assigned.
