The Walt Disney Studios encompasses the creation, production, promotion, sales, acquisition and domestic and international distribution of live-action and animated motion pictures, home entertainment releases, live stage plays, and music and soundtrack recordings.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Answering and screening phones, scheduling appts, arranging travel as needed.
Assists on setting up production files for films supervised by executive.
Assists in management of incoming materials, maintaining contact information on data base and research information and compile as needed. Occasional script analysis required (breakdown sets, cast & location Strong computer skills (Mac) are a must.
Works directly with production companies to manage information flow between studio & production, including day-to-day updates during set up and production.
Each production executive is typically assigned film projects and interfaces with film makers during the set up of the production, scheduling of the project and then oversight of the actually production during filming.
Physical production includes interface with post and VFX, Creative execs and finance.
Coordination of schedule and incoming calls is critical to the success of the Physical Prod Exec to ensure film remains on time and on budget.
In addition this exec is involved in several Green initiatives within and outside the company, which promote more efficient use of materials on set and after production.
•1+ year of Film Production
•1+ year of “On set” experience.
•Strong proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
•Computer skills, Mac knowledgeable, familiarity with Production scheduling and Budgeting programs a plus
•Demonstrated ability to prioritize, multi-task, meet deadlines, make preliminary decisions and change course of action quickly.
•Detail oriented with the ability to work well under pressure and maintain professionalism and service orientation.
•Strong organizational and follow-thru skills, keeping manager informed on completed tasks and status of current tasks at hand.
•Strong assistant skills a must (phones, calendar, contacts). Ability to resolve routine issues and raise complex issues to management.
•Ability to work with highly confidential material.
Effective communicator, both verbally and written.
•Ability to be proactive, resourceful and flexible.
•Ability to take initiative and work with minimum supervision.
SAP knowledge a plus
BA/BS Degree in film
