The Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) will provide nursing professional development and education services by assisting nursing and other patient care staff in preparing for contemporary practice and supporting them in acquiring the knowledge and skills so that they can competently collect patient health data, analyze the data to determine patient problems (nursing diagnoses), identify expected outcomes individualized to the patient, develop a plan of care that prescribes interventions to attain the expected outcomes, implement the interventions identified in the plan of care, and evaluate the patient’s progress toward attainment of the outcomes in the medical surgical and behavioral health settings. The CNE will also be involved in the development and education services for the unlicensed assistive personnel.
- 5 years experience as Clinical RN Required
- 3 years experience in various phases of clinical nursing practice and adult education.
- Clinical Master's Degree is preferred
