Requires an advanced degree, MS or PhD, in Electrical Engineering with experiences in semiconductor industry as a plus.
Requires in-depth knowledge of industry standard Compact models and modeling methodologies (i.e. Bsim4, BsimSOI, PSP Spice models, etc.), a good understanding of semiconductor device physics and process technologies, and some familiarity with designing test chips and circuit design. Strong interpersonal interaction and ability to work effectively within team and cross different teams is desired. Knowledge in numerical device/process simulation and chip level extraction is a plus.
This position is in the Foundry Technology Group at Marvell. The job’s main responsibility includes 1) interfacing with foundries, CAD team, and design teams to evaluate device models in advanced technology nodes; 2) interfacing with design teams, CAD team, foundry team members, and foundries to benchmark advanced Si technologies, 3) to support Marvell special needs in device modeling (e.g. device measurement, reliability stress, and characterization, etc.), 4) working with team members to design test structures for device characterization, and 5) interfacing with design teams to enable special simulation capabilities inside Marvell.
